You can host events as your artist, so they show up under your stage name. Your artist dashboard also keeps track of the events your artist hosts. Artist profiles can also be added as co-hosts on events hosted by someone else.
This article explains how to create an event as your artist and where to find your artist’s events.
Before You Start
To do this, you must:
Be logged into your Beatmatch account
Be the artist owner or an admin on the artist team
Artist owners and admins can create and edit events for the artist. If you don’t have an artist profile yet, see Create an Artist. To learn more about picking a host profile, see Choose a Profile for Creating Events.
Create an Event as Your Artist
To create an event hosted by your artist:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Switch to the artist profile you want to host under
Open the New event page
The New Event page opens with your artist set as the host.
From there, enter your event details and tickets. See Create an Event and Create Ticket Options.
Co-Host Events as Your Artist
If another organizer is creating the event, they can still add your artist as a co-host so the artist appears on the event and your team can help manage it. See Add Co-Hosts to an Event.
See Your Artist’s Events
To see events your artist hosts:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Go to your artist’s public page and select View dashboard
Select the Events tab
Upcoming events – events scheduled under your artist
Past events – a history of everything hosted by your artist
Select an event to open it. Your next few upcoming events also appear on the Overview tab.
The Gigs tab is separate: it lists events your artist is performing at, not events your artist hosts. See View and Manage Your Gigs.
Run Your Event
Manage Your Orders – view orders, refund orders, and export your guest list
Check In Guests – scan tickets or check in guests at the door
Send a Text Blast – message guests by text
Refunds for events your artist hosts can only be issued by the artist owner.
Tips for Hosting Events
Switch to your artist profile before you create the event so it hosts under your stage name
Set up payouts before tickets go on sale. See Get Paid as an Artist.
