Beatmatch partners with Stripe for payouts. Connecting a Stripe account to your artist profile lets you receive money from ticket sales for events your artist profile hosts.
This article explains how event payouts work, how to connect Stripe, and how to check your balance.
Before You Start
To do this, you must:
Be logged into your Beatmatch account
Be the artist owner
Only the artist owner can see and manage Finance settings. Admins on your artist team can’t.
How Event Payouts Work
When your artist profile is the host of an event, money from ticket sales goes to your artist’s connected Stripe account, minus Beatmatch fees. See Understand Ticket Fees.
Payouts go to the event’s host only. Being on an event’s lineup or added as a co-host doesn’t send that event’s ticket sales to your artist profile.
Fans can’t check out with tickets for an event your artist hosts until your artist has a connected Stripe account, so connect Stripe before tickets go on sale.
To host an event as your artist, create the event while using your artist profile in the Beatmatch app.
Connect Stripe
To connect Stripe:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Go to your artist’s public page and select View dashboard
Select the Settings tab
Select Finance
Select Connect Stripe
Follow the steps on Stripe to create a new account or connect an existing one
You can also select Get paid in the setup checklist on your artist dashboard to go straight to Finance settings.
Finish Setting Up Stripe
Your Stripe account shows as Active or Inactive in Finance settings. If it’s inactive, you’ll see Almost there! Select Complete setup to finish your account on Stripe. Your account needs to be active to accept payments.
Check Your Balance
Once your Stripe account is active, Finance settings show your artist’s account balance:

Pending
Select Open Stripe to open your Stripe dashboard.
