Beatmatch makes it easy to discover events based on your interests, location, and the people you follow. You can browse recommended events, filter by date or distance, and search for specific artists, communities, or event names.
This article explains the different ways to find events on Beatmatch.
Browse the For You Feed
The For You tab shows recommended events based on:
Your activity on Beatmatch
Events trending in your area
Artists and communities you may like
To browse the For You feed:
Open the Beatmatch app
Go to the Explore or discovery section
Make sure For You is selected
Scroll to see upcoming events
This is the easiest way to discover new events without searching.
Check the Following Feed
The Following tab shows events from:
Artists you follow
Communities you’ve joined
Hosts you follow
To view events from people you follow:
Go to the Explore section
Select the Following tab
If your Following feed is empty, you may need to:
Follow more artists or hosts
Join communities
Connect your contacts
This feed helps you keep up with events from people and groups you already care about.
Use Filters to Narrow Results
You can filter events to match your plans and location.
To use filters:
Tap the filter icon
Choose a date option:
Tonight
Tomorrow
This week
Adjust the search radius to see events nearby
Filter by genre if available
Tap Apply
Filters help you quickly find events that fit your schedule and distance preferences.
Search for Specific Events, Artists, or Communities
You can use search to look for:
Event names
Artists
Venues
Communities
To search:
Tap the search bar
Start typing a name or keyword
Select a result from the list
This is useful if you already know what you’re looking for.
Discover Events Through Communities
Communities help group people around shared interests or scenes.
From the Explore page, you can:
Browse featured communities
Join communities you like
See events hosted by those communities
Joining communities makes it easier to discover relevant events in the future.
Tips for Finding Great Events
Follow artists and hosts you like
Join communities related to your interests
Use filters when you’re planning for a specific day
Check the For You feed often for new recommendations
Try searching by genre or artist name
The more you interact with events, the better your recommendations become.
