How to Connect with Friends
You can see your friends’ event activity by:
Connecting your phone contacts
Following people on Beatmatch
Once connected, Beatmatch can show you events your friends are interested in or attending.
Connect Your Phone Contacts
Connecting your contacts helps Beatmatch find friends who are already on the app.
To connect contacts:
Open the Beatmatch app
Go to your profile or settings
Select Connect contacts
Allow access when prompted
This helps you discover people you already know.
Follow People on Beatmatch
You can also follow friends directly in the app.
To follow someone:
Use search to find their profile
Tap Follow on their profile
Following someone lets you see their event activity in your feed.
View Events Your Friends Are Going To
Once you’ve connected with friends, you can see their events in the Following feed.
To view:
Go to the Discover section
Select the Following tab
This feed shows events from:
People you follow
Communities you’ve joined
Friends who are attending upcoming events
It’s the easiest way to discover events your friends are already planning to attend.
Get Notifications About Friend Activity
Beatmatch can notify you when your friends are going to events.
You may receive:
Push notifications
Email notifications
These alerts help you stay in the loop when friends RSVP or buy tickets to events you might like.
Create a Plan With Friends
You can also create a Plan to coordinate going to an event together.
When you create a plan:
Beatmatch suggests friends who may be interested
You can invite friends directly to join the plan
Everyone in the plan can see who’s going and chat together
Plans make it easier to organize group outings and avoid last-minute confusion.
