If someone else is taking over your venue, you can transfer ownership to them. The new owner gets full control of the venue once they accept.
This article explains how to transfer venue ownership.
Before You Start
To do this, you must:
Be logged into your Beatmatch account
Be the venue owner
Only the current owner sees the Transfer owner option. Ownership can only be transferred to a person with a Beatmatch account.
Transfer Ownership
To transfer ownership of your venue:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Go to your venue’s public page and select View dashboard
Select the Settings tab
Select General
Under Venue management, find Transfer owner and select the button next to it
Search for the new owner
Select Submit transfer
You’ll see a Transfer request sent confirmation, and Transfer owner will show Request sent to followed by the person’s name.
What Happens Next
The person you chose needs to accept the transfer request
If they decline, you stay the owner
Once they accept, they become the owner and you lose your ownership privileges
Because only the owner can manage Finance settings, the new owner takes over payouts for the venue. See Get Paid for Your Venue Events.
