Keeping your venue profile up to date helps fans find you and know what to expect. You can change your venue’s name, username, address, description, and photo at any time.
This article explains how to edit your venue profile.
Before You Start
To do this, you must:
Be logged into your Beatmatch account
Be the venue owner or an admin on the venue team
Edit Your Venue Details
To edit your venue details:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Go to your venue’s public page and select View dashboard
Select the Settings tab
Select General
You can also select Edit venue on your public venue page to go straight to these settings.
Under Venue details, you can update:
Venue name (required, up to 60 characters)
Username – your venue’s handle on Beatmatch
Address – search by street address or venue name and select a result
Description (up to 1,000 characters) – tell guests about your venue
Select Save changes when you’re done. You’ll see a Venue updated confirmation once your changes are saved.
If the username you entered isn’t valid, you’ll see a message explaining why, and you won’t be able to save until you fix it.
Change Your Venue Photo
To change your venue photo:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Go to your venue’s public page and select View dashboard
Select your venue photo at the top of the dashboard
Choose a new image
You’ll see a Venue image updated confirmation once the new photo is saved.
Tips for a Great Venue Profile
Use your venue’s official name so fans recognize it
Double-check your address so guests can find you
Describe what makes your space unique, like capacity, sound, and layout
Use a clear photo or logo of your space
