Keeping your artist profile up to date helps fans recognize you and learn about your music. You can change your artist’s photo, name, username, and bio at any time.
This article explains how to edit your artist profile.
Before You Start
To do this, you must:
Be logged into your Beatmatch account
Be the artist owner or an admin on the artist team
Open Your Artist Settings
To open your artist settings:
Visit beatmatch.app and log in
Go to your artist’s public page and select View dashboard
Select the Settings tab
Select General
You can also select Edit artist on your public artist page to go straight to these settings.
Edit Your Artist Details
Under Artist details, you can update:
Photo – select Upload an image to choose a new photo, or Remove image to remove the current one
Artist name (required, up to 30 characters)
Username – your artist’s handle on Beatmatch
Artist bio (up to 1,000 characters) – describe your sound and style
Select Save changes when you’re done. You’ll see an Artist updated confirmation once your changes are saved.
If the username you entered isn’t valid, you’ll see a message explaining why, and you won’t be able to save until you fix it.
Add Songs
Songs are managed separately under Settings > Songs. See Add Songs to Your Artist Profile.
