We know plans change. If you bought tickets and want to send one to a friend, you may be wondering how to transfer it inside the app.
🚧 Ticket transfers are coming soon
At the moment, Beatmatch does not yet support in-app ticket transfers.
We’re actively working on this feature to make it easy to securely send tickets to friends. Once it’s available, you’ll be able to manage and transfer tickets directly from your account.
Stay tuned — we’ll announce it as soon as it launches.
What to Do in the Meantime
If you purchased multiple tickets and your group plans to arrive separately, here are your current options:
Option 1: Arrive Together
The simplest solution is to arrive at the venue with your entire party.
Since the tickets are tied to your account and QR code, the purchaser will need to be present to scan everyone in.
Option 2: Contact the Event Organizer
If arriving together isn’t possible, we recommend contacting the event organizer directly to ask about separate entry accommodations.
Some organizers may:
Add a guest name to a list
Make a note for door staff
Offer an alternative check-in solution
Please note that entry policies are determined by the organizer and/or venue, so availability may vary by event.
Why Transfers Are Limited (For Now)
To protect guests and organizers, Beatmatch tickets are:
Securely tied to your account
Protected by unique QR codes
Refreshed to prevent duplication or unauthorized resale
These safeguards help reduce fraud and ensure smooth check-in at the door.
What’s Next
We’re building a secure, seamless way to transfer tickets between users while maintaining fraud protection and organizer control.
If you’d like to be notified when ticket transfers go live, keep your app updated and make sure push notifications are enabled.
