Message Your Fans with Posts and Text Blasts

Learn how to share posts with your artist’s followers and send text blasts from your artist dashboard.

Posts and text blasts let you share announcements, exclusives, and updates with the people who follow your artist profile. You can send both from your artist dashboard.

This article explains how to create a post and send a text blast as your artist.

Before You Start

To do this, you must:

  • Be logged into your Beatmatch account

  • Be the artist owner or an admin on the artist team

Create a Post

To create a post as your artist:

  1. Visit beatmatch.app and log in

  2. Go to your artist’s public page and select View dashboard

  3. Start writing in the post box on the Overview tab, or select Actions > Create post in the bar at the bottom of the dashboard

  4. Write your message (up to 250 characters)

  5. Optionally add an attachment, like a photo or a poll

  6. Under Send to, turn on SMS, Email, or both if you also want to notify fans by text or email

  7. Select Share

The post is shared with your Followers, and you’ll see a Post shared confirmation. Your posts also appear in the Latest tab on your public artist page.

To learn more about what you can include in a post, see Create a Post.
