Learn how to request a refund for your ticket and understand how refunds are handled on Beatmatch.

Updated over a month ago

Plans can change. If you can’t attend an event, you may be wondering how to request a refund.

Here’s how refunds work on Beatmatch.

How to Request a Refund

At this time, Beatmatch does not offer a built-in refund request form.

To request a refund, you must contact the event organizer directly.

To contact the organizer:

  1. Open the event page

  2. Tap the organizer’s profile

  3. Press the Message button

  4. Send a direct message requesting a refund

We recommend including:

  • Your full name

  • The event name

  • Your order details (e.g. ticket option, number of tickets, etc.)

  • The reason for your request

The organizer will review your request and decide whether to approve it.

Important: Refunds Are at the Organizer’s Discretion

Refund approvals are determined entirely by the event organizer.

  • There is no guarantee your refund request will be granted

  • Each organizer may have different policies

  • Some events may be marked as non-refundable

If you do not receive a response, you may follow up directly with the organizer.

What Gets Refunded?

If your refund request is approved:

  • You will receive a refund for the ticket price only

  • Beatmatch service fees are non-refundable

Service Fees

Beatmatch charges:

  • 10% of the order value

  • $0.99 per ticket

These fees are not returned if a voluntary refund is approved.

You will receive back only the base ticket price paid to the organizer.

What If the Event Is Cancelled?

If the event is officially cancelled by the organizer:

  • You will receive a full refund

  • This includes the ticket price and all service fees

You do not need to request a refund for a cancelled event. Refunds will be processed automatically.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

When to Contact Beatmatch Support

Beatmatch support can assist with:

  • Technical payment errors

  • Duplicate charges

  • Issues accessing your tickets

However, for standard refund requests, you must contact the organizer directly.

If you have questions about your ticket, start by sending a message to the event organizer through their profile.
